As I sit here waiting for my paint to dry.....literally. I'm working on my art project and I have to let the paint dry before I use the sharpie. It's taking awhile......Anywho, I thought I'd blog a bit. Just a tad. A smidge.
Well first off I went back to Target with Emma and got a a wonderfully amazing blanket of warmth and wonder :D It's not the same one as I had picked out with Tabitha, but I'm actually totally ok with that. The one that Tabitha and I had found was like this full sized blanket. Dats a bit too much fur me. (That's what she said.) Anywho and Winnie the Pooh, Emma found me the exact same one cept it was just a throw blanket. So this one is like actually usable :P It's 50' by 60'. Just a bit smaller than my other blanket Bernard. Yes, I named my blanket. Now I need to name this one....Well I'm not gonna stress it. It'll come to me.
Here's my new blanket of wonderfulness!
Jude and Aglet are incredibly comfortable on it.
OH! and the cool thing is that the blanket feels exactly like Jude does. So it's just a continuous feel of soft plushiness. I loooovvveee it.....mmmm....
I love plush.
Plush
Plush Plush
Plush Plush Plush!
Enough of that.
So yea Emma and I also went to Wal Mart and I wanted to show you the extreme ridiculousness of the impending Valentine's Day abhorrence.
Here's one wall of plushness.
Here's another shelving unit thing-a-ma-bob.
Too much pink for me personally.....
Then there's the cute sock monkeys :)
Plus some ridiculous candy.
I love you in sign language.
Some ridiculous dog and cat suckers? Weird....
And last but not least I found this huge bear! :D
Well that passed some time. Too bad my paint isn't dry yet.
Shucks.
Now what?

Bed Wetting
Have you ever wondered why we don't pee ourselves in our sleep??
No? Oh maybe that's just me.
Well the thought just randomly came to me the other day and yea.....
I looked up some info via wikidpedia
you know...cuz you can always trust wikipedia....but yea for the most part I think you can.
Anywho, I thought it was just interesting.
Poor little guy....
"Most girls can stay dry by age six and most boys stay dry by age seven. By ten years old, 95% of children are dry at night. Studies place adult bedwetting rates at between 0.5% to 2.3%" (Wikipedia)
"Treatment ranges from behavioral-based options such as bedwetting alarms, to medication such as hormone replacement, and even surgery such as urethral enlargement. Since most bedwetting is simply a developmental delay, most treatment plans aim to protect or improve self-esteem. Bedwetting children and adults can suffer emotional stress or psychological injury if they feel shamed by the condition. Treatment guidelines recommend that the physician counsel the parents, warning about psychological damage caused by pressure, shaming, or punishment for a condition children cannot control." (Wikipedia)
Well that's interesting. I didn't think that there was a psychological link to bed wetting.
I had just thought that you have to learn to control your bladder while you sleep.
Apparently there's a link between your self esteem and your bladder control.
Hmm
Well here's the link if you wanted to check it out via wikipedia
href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bed_wetting">
And just for kicks and giggles here's what urban dictionary has to say :P
Soggy Bottoms:
a grown man who wets his pants. Not a clown. Often accompanied by the soggy bottoms walk, a severe bow-legged stance which deliberately attempts to keep wet pantlegs from chafing the insides of mr. soggy bottoms legs. Also seen in bed wetters and young children.
That dude thinks he's so cool in those fancy knickers, but he's got a serious case of the soggy bottoms. "Hey, look at soggy bottoms over there!"
w.m.b.a.t.t.
pronounced wombat, stands for "wetting my bed all the time"
I went through a period of w.m.b.a.t.t. untill i was 13!
No? Oh maybe that's just me.

Willow Tree
So yea I'm like totally in love with these figurines.
"Promise"
"Together"
"Happiness"
"The Quilt"
I just think that they're so simple and lovely and precious. When I get my own house and family and everything I'm going to get like all of these. I'm going to have them positioned all throughout my house.
I literally can't wait til I can decorate my house. I have so many ideas.
I hope my husband doesn't mind.....
Cuz I'ma gonna go crazy.
Well more crazy than I already am ;)
But yea here's the link to Family Christian Store, of which I am a family member. I like how they call it a family :) When I signed up for it the woman was like, "Welcome to the family :D" and I was like, "Thank you (touches heart)" lol

Blanket of Incredibly Warmth and Wonder
I actually have my laptop with me for once. Isn't this remarkable? Well actually that was a rhetorical question. You know the word 'rhetorical' is very interesting. And even the word 'interesting' is interesting because there are so many uses for it.
Imagine that you're best friend just got their hair cut. She looks awful! Then she comes up to you and asks what you think. Well you can't tell her the truth, it would hurt her feelings. So you use neutral words like 'unique' and 'interesting'. You're able to say, "That is very unique. I've never seen anything like it." Or you could say, "Wow that is very interesting."
I was just talking to my friend Tabitha the other day while we were riding the mits bus about the word 'interesting' because frankly I thought it was interesting how many different ways people use it in every day conversation.
Oh that bus trip...
We got on the mits bus at like 5:10 or so? idk trying to go to the mall and we go around to wal mart, come back on campus, then head out to the mall. Yea why didn't we just go on the other side of the road? Answer: We forgot. Blonde moment. Shut up. Anywho, we're on the mits bus finally heading toward the mall when the woman driving said that this was the last run. Tabitha and I look over at each other and are like, "Well shiiiat. What are we gonna do to get back home?" So I go and call up my good buddy Evan lol and ask him to come pick us up at Target cuz I knew he was out and about getting stuff at JoAnn's Fabrics.
Well the reason for the trip was because Tabitha had bought this ridiculously fuzzy blanket that was on sale and I wanted one! Well we get there, we find the last soft plush amazingly gorgeous green blanket, we nab it up and head for the cashier. I'm all set to buy this thing, I'm totally excited and whatnot, only to find out that I hadn't brought enough money.
LAME!!!!
I was using a gift card that my momma had given me which she claimed had $15 on it. Nope. Only had $5. So with the extra $10 I brought to cover the difference I was still short like $8.
Gahhhhh......
So I had to hand it back to her and go wait for Evan with my arms empty and without my incredibly warm and wonderful blanket :(
Sadness....
BUT!! I plan to go to Wal Mart and Targe with my roomie Emma and hopefully (crosses fingers, eyes, toes, tongue, ears) it will still be there and then I'll buy it and I'll go back to my room and snuggle with it and love it and and and
yea....
I actually just remembered that I can't roll my tongue much less cross it.....

Despicable Me?!
Dude alright so I meant to write this like forever ago but yea I didn't....
So anywho, the movie Despicable Me was totally adorable!
I loved it lots.
Like....LOTS.
Anywho again, there were a couple things that I had thought while watching the movie.
Whoa I can think??
Yea.
I can.
Shut up.
So yea my thoughts:
1.) For all you Harry Potter fans out there, pay attention to Mrs. Hattie. Doesn't she resemble Dolores Umbridge?!
Yea it's sick I know. They're both fat and wear those pastel-like colors even though their hearts are black as tar. They both have a really freaking annoying voice that makes you want to cut out their vocal cords with a rusty spoon.
2.) Are there any girl minions? There was the one cross dressing minion for when they had to go to the store, but I'm pretty sure that was still a guy. Cuz how do they procreate? Or do they just pop outta the ground.....like gnomes.....
TANGENT!
Has anyone seen previews for the movie Gnomeo and Juliet?
href="http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_L_5vrHoWQ">
It looks pretty sweet. Pretty sure that Michael Caine is the voice for one of the characters.
And you know how I feel about Michael Caine ;) (see previous blog entry)
Oh oh oh! The voice of Gnomeo is the guy who was the faun in Chronicles of Narnia! That's majorly awesome. AND he's cute.... ;) Just sayin.....
Anywho,
3.) Did anyone notice how the boogey robots that Nefario constructed had really pointy boobs??
Here watch.
href="http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aM0em8VnjDY">
4.) Did anyone notice how the douche running the carnival stand had a frowny face on his shirt? Fitting right? Gah I hate him....
Alright now look real close at his shirt...
href="http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Fu6g6yT1EM&feature=related">
and lastly
5.) Why does Vector have that neck protector thing-a-ma-bob if he's wearing a track suit? Like seriously is it supposed to be like he popped his collar or something? But I will give him this, he does a man pelvic thrust ;)
href="http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbrEBpCw3Ag">
So yea there were a few things that I had picked up while watching the movie.

Hey Hey!
Hey you sexy beast!
How have you been? Yea I know I haven't written a blog in like forever but I've been like ridiculously busy with this, that, and the other thing.
The other thing being school of course.
So yea you know I kinda thought that I would be on my computer like all the time.
Yea no not the case.
Cuz Mon/Wed/Fri I carry a ton of books and notebooks and stuffff that I don't really want to carry my laptop along with me.
Then Tues/Thurs I have my 2 art studios along with my uber boring mythology class.
I ain't got no time to dilly dally!
Yea and so then when I come back to my room I'm usually all like tuckered out and whatnot and gotta do homework, gotta hang with friends. That sort of thing.
Well I guess I don't have to hang with friends. But yea no I do.
So my writing style today is like totally spacey. I kinda like it. If you don't know me then this is pretty much how I talk.
Cept I dunno if I actually say "like" and "totally" as much as I have been on here.....
This calls for!!!!
......further investigation.......
Yea I know kinda lame, but oh well you'll get over it.
Someday.
Like tomorrow.
Oh hey peeps!! I gotz something I wanna show you.
Alright so there's these Brothers Winn, I dunno if you know them but they're hilarious.
Well the one guy.
His brother runs the camera.
So yea.
Here's the link.
http://www.youtube.com/user/WhatYouOughtToKnow
Watch them. Love them. Don't stalk them though.
That's frowned upon.

Oh My Mother Mary
You know that was just kinda a saying that I ....wanted ....to say....Yay redundancy!...anywho the fun part of that title is that my mother's name is actually Mary.
It just kinda came out like that. Hmm. Isn't life a peach?
mmmm peaches....
So I'm not gonna lie to you, anyone who actually reads this here blog, I'm very happy to be back in the swing of things here at college. My first day back was ridiculously awesome. Like seriously, I brought my friends Thomas, Tabitha and Nathan back and then we met up with Emma and Zac and we were all there to help get stuff up to our rooms then we all piled in my suBURban and dropped it off at the stadium. It was a fantastical fun extravaganza. For serious.
However, even though I'm excited to be back with friends and such, I'm just a tad bit anxious about my classes. It's just a tad bit intimidating that I have two 3 hr art studios on the same day and that I'll have to spend even more time than that working on my projects outside of class.
Tad bit Tad bit Tad bit Tad bit
Anywho and those wonderful Jews.....I'm only kinda freaking out about my classes. My comm classes should be good enough. I just made friends with these two girls Coleen and Emily. Yay friends! My other comm class is a large lecture, but the prof seems like fun. My English class is going to demand a lot of reading, which I think I should be able to handle. Oh yea and I have a mythology class crammed in between my two studios. Fun fun right?
No.
So yea it's really just me getting into the swing of art again.
I didn't do any art over break and I probably should have.
But on the other hand I have been sketching in this nifty lil book of mine since I got on campus.
So that's something.
Here's one of my sketches.
I've just kinda been in a peacock kinda mood.
Peacock cock cock your peacock cock cock....
Wait what??

New Years Resolution
Usually for my New Year's resolution I would say something about wanting to "find love this year" or something along those lines.
Well on New Year's I kinda found it :)
Now what? lol
Well actually before that I had been thinking to myself, "I want this resolution to actually mean something to me. I want it to be something I can actually work on day-to-day."
That's when I had the idea: I want to trust in the Lord more.
My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding.
That's been my favorite Bible verse but I've never really followed up on it. I've always just said that when I needed it. When I felt like I was out of control.
I want this verse to take hold in me and actually come to mean something to me.
I want to know that God has a plan for me.
I want to believe in Him and trust in Him.
So that's why I decided that for my New Year's Resolution I want to put all of my trust in the Lord and let Him take care of me.
So far it's been working pretty well... I went and got my past resolution already ;)
