It's so fuzzy!

I'm really not all that into the Ugg style of boots
or the knock-off Airwalk styles I guess
but there's just something about this boot that makes me want it....

I mean the color is so interesting.
And I really want to have a pair of fur-lined boots.

But on the other hand there's these boots

They're black. They're sassy. They have an actual attractive form to them rather than the Airwalk that are just kinda there... And they're fur-lined as well.
I'm gonna go Black Friday shopping with Tabitha and I'll try each one on lol

We'll see which one I buy :P

Mission: Stay Awake

Alright so this is an ongoing mission to stay awake in my mythology class. In every single class I've been in I've nodded off at least 3 times. Bad I know right. But the timing is just awful. I have my 8 o'clock 3 hour studio in the morning then this 75 minute lecture then I have my second 3 hour studio.

It's a right good time wouldn't ya say chaps?

Oh yea and me and my friends have been speaking in British accents these past couple days :) It's just so much fun!

My friend Spencer and I were talking in British accents yesterday at lunch and this girl at another table leaned over and asked us if we were from England and where we were from. We proceeded to tell the nice young lady that we were in fact from Indiana. Turns out that she was actually from England and she thought that we were legit. YEA BOI! We high fived each other :P


Ohp he's writing on the board. Gotta get these terms down. (jot jot jot jot)

And now he's rambling......ohp apparently I missed something cuz Emma just chastised me.

And I just found out that we're going to have a test in this class come next Thursday. Well F me with an XL D.

Let's try paying a bit more attention....

Sir Valentine Sir

I woke up this morning with all intentions of having a bad day because I don't have that someone special in my life. But my best friend Nathan decided to send me a text as I was walking to class saying, "I love you Amy!" How can I not smile at that?! And then my friend Tabitha said that she would be my valentine :) All in all today was just another day with a few more proclamations of love between friends.

That got me to thinking. Yes, I can see that incredulous look on your face. "What?! She thinks?!"

Anyway, I was thinking how yea it really sucks not having that special someone in my life right now, but this is the time where I just really need to have faith that he'll come into my life. I've been getting myself so worked up trying to find the guy, going out of my way to make things happen, when in actuality I need to let things go. I shouldn't have to go and try to get a guy to like me. I want him to come to me. I want him to see how great I am, how funny I am, how beautiful I am.

So this Valentine's Day was me enjoying time with my friends whom I love dearly and reminding myself to just let go of things so they can work themselves out.

Mac thy name is Delicious

So yea not gonna lie I was starving when I got back to my room like 10 minutes ago. I was like, "What do I have to eat?!"Ok maybe I wasn't that crazy. But I was hungry....and lo my eyes befell my pb&j and mac and chesse.

Score!

Oh wait wrong kind of PB&J. (Do you remember watching this show?? I loved it So much.)


Here we go.


I proceeded to scarf the sandwich, with grape jelly mind you, and then heated up the deliciousness that is mac and cheese. Now little known fact here, are you paying attention?, I've actually messed up making mac and cheese.

*GASP*

I know. It's pathetic. And no this wasn't like when I was like 13. No, this was like maybe last year or something. I'm not gonna lie when I'm home I always make my lil sister Cara make the mac and cheese :P I tell her that no one makes it like her, and that's actually pretty legit. She makes really good mac and cheese. Yes, there's a difference. It's like how my grandma makes magical toast.

MAGIC TOAST!!!


Have I blogged about my grandma's magical toast?!?! Oh my gosh!! So yea my grandma makes like the best toast ever. It's like with wheat break, cinnamon, a dash of this, a dash of that, and a whole heeping of love and magic. Ya see she's like got this special secret cupboard where she keeps it. She goes to this back room where us grandkids aren't allowed to follow and she pulls out this container thingy and is just like bam


MAGIC TOAST!!!


It's totally legit. Tabitha, Thomas, Trenna, Colton, Haley, and I all had magical toast brunch with my grandma and it was just the most splendiferous time ever. We seriously went through like 2 loaves of bread. It was awesome!!

So much deliciousness......

Today's Randomosities

As I sit here waiting for my paint to dry.....literally. I'm working on my art project and I have to let the paint dry before I use the sharpie. It's taking awhile......Anywho, I thought I'd blog a bit. Just a tad. A smidge.

Well first off I went back to Target with Emma and got a a wonderfully amazing blanket of warmth and wonder :D It's not the same one as I had picked out with Tabitha, but I'm actually totally ok with that. The one that Tabitha and I had found was like this full sized blanket. Dats a bit too much fur me. (That's what she said.) Anywho and Winnie the Pooh, Emma found me the exact same one cept it was just a throw blanket. So this one is like actually usable :P It's 50' by 60'. Just a bit smaller than my other blanket Bernard. Yes, I named my blanket. Now I need to name this one....Well I'm not gonna stress it. It'll come to me.

Here's my new blanket of wonderfulness!

Jude and Aglet are incredibly comfortable on it.
OH! and the cool thing is that the blanket feels exactly like Jude does. So it's just a continuous feel of soft plushiness. I loooovvveee it.....mmmm....

Blanket of Incredibly Warmth and Wonder

I actually have my laptop with me for once. Isn't this remarkable? Well actually that was a rhetorical question. You know the word 'rhetorical' is very interesting. And even the word 'interesting' is interesting because there are so many uses for it.

Imagine that you're best friend just got their hair cut. She looks awful! Then she comes up to you and asks what you think. Well you can't tell her the truth, it would hurt her feelings. So you use neutral words like 'unique' and 'interesting'. You're able to say, "That is very unique. I've never seen anything like it." Or you could say, "Wow that is very interesting."

I was just talking to my friend Tabitha the other day while we were riding the mits bus about the word 'interesting' because frankly I thought it was interesting how many different ways people use it in every day conversation.

Oh that bus trip...

We got on the mits bus at like 5:10 or so? idk trying to go to the mall and we go around to wal mart, come back on campus, then head out to the mall. Yea why didn't we just go on the other side of the road? Answer: We forgot. Blonde moment. Shut up. Anywho, we're on the mits bus finally heading toward the mall when the woman driving said that this was the last run. Tabitha and I look over at each other and are like, "Well shiiiat. What are we gonna do to get back home?" So I go and call up my good buddy Evan lol and ask him to come pick us up at Target cuz I knew he was out and about getting stuff at JoAnn's Fabrics.

Well the reason for the trip was because Tabitha had bought this ridiculously fuzzy blanket that was on sale and I wanted one! Well we get there, we find the last soft plush amazingly gorgeous green blanket, we nab it up and head for the cashier. I'm all set to buy this thing, I'm totally excited and whatnot, only to find out that I hadn't brought enough money.

LAME!!!!

I was using a gift card that my momma had given me which she claimed had $15 on it. Nope. Only had $5. So with the extra $10 I brought to cover the difference I was still short like $8.

Gahhhhh......

So I had to hand it back to her and go wait for Evan with my arms empty and without my incredibly warm and wonderful blanket :(

Sadness....

BUT!! I plan to go to Wal Mart and Targe with my roomie Emma and hopefully (crosses fingers, eyes, toes, tongue, ears) it will still be there and then I'll buy it and I'll go back to my room and snuggle with it and love it and and and

yea....

I actually just remembered that I can't roll my tongue much less cross it.....

Evening of Epicness

Tonight has been absolutely memorable. On the one hand I had really wanted to be home, but now I'm SO very glad I didn't dip.

Tonight I was able to hang out with like 10 fantastic! individuals.

I put glitter in a Al's hair...
I covered him in silly string...
We put some more glitter in his shampoo...
I got "yelled" at by his RA Nathan...
I was later scared by said sparkly vampire, screamed really loudly, and was "yelled" at by said Nathan again...
Later I hung out in Ben's room with Tabitha, Kristi, Erin, Travis, Zac and Evan and threw his red cock around...
Talked to Nathan trying to convince him that I was not up to any shennanigans...
Exploded apples outside in the frigid air with Tabitha...
Then finally hung out with my bud Evan as he worked on his art project...

This has been one Freakin Fantastic Evening :D

But alas I do believe that I should hit the hay, dunk the turkey, roast a mallow, kick a squirrel, whatever it is that kids are saying these days.

Story time! Story time!

I was walking through wal mart with my friend Tabitha and we saw this bin of Cuddlee Pets. They're like Pillow Pets, but the off brand. And yea I was overcome with the desire to possess one. I was messing around on ebay and the idea popped into my head, "Let's look for that turtle pillow!"
And so I did.

I bought Aglet for $8 :)

That was like........last Thursday? I think?

Doesn't matter cuz he came today :) and it was just the topping to my cupcake :)

I also thought that the label on it was was funny.

Ages 3 and up indeed lol
That just goes to show that I really am a child at heart :P

Oh! So I guess I didn't tell you how his name came to be. That's in interesting story as well.

As you know, or you would if you read the past few blogs, I was really tired today. Well I picked up my package down at the front desk and dipped on upstairs. But then I was being obstinate and wouldn't take a nap until I had named my new lil friend. Well I decided that I would just sleep on it and see what happened.

Later I was hanging out with Tabitha and we were mulling over names and such. We were just spewing out random names and then I thought of Phineas and Ferb......


I love Phineas and Ferb!
and yea I thought the name Aglet would be pretty cute and awkward and awesome :)
